The Helen White-Evie Eubank Offering
for Birmingham Baptist Association Missions
Upon her retirement in 1986, Ruth Helen White found herself embarking on a second career. As director of "Caring Hands," Helen helped the Birmingham Baptist Association provide furnished apartments to critically ill medical patients. She continued serving in this ministry with a soft-spoken demeanor and a kind heart until her death in 2001. The WMU of Birmingham Baptist Association has honored her by adding her name to the annual missions offering.
